Gettig ready to hit 13K with stock clutch and original tires. You guys starting to see a partern with the clutches lasting with the guys that don't "lunch" their cars at every light trying to race everyone and their grandma?
16K miles on stock clutch. Been modified since the first week...
RMR turbo back, SAFC, Dynoflash, RMR intake, Greddy type S BOV, RMR induction pipe, UR cat, Greddy Profec B spec II, walboro 255 pump, HKS range 8 plugs, Blitz TT, Greddy oil catch can, B&M short shifter, Grounding Kit, etc...
Car runs great, no problems.

Mods: RNR catback with a bullet muffler+tip, Manaflow High flow cat, RNR down pipe, F/R aluminum sturt bars, sway bars, anti roll kit, Blitz BOV, Blitz dual turbo timer/boost gauge, Short throw shifter, Carbon Fiber hood, Short chrome antenna.
PLEASE, if you are going to list mods at the bottom of your post get rid of the foolish, moronic disclaimer! That disclaimer provides NO LEGAL PROTECTION WHATSOEVER! Combine that with listing mods when you are feigning virginity and purity and it is so incredibly laughable and ludicrous!

I also did lots and lots of driving in traffic during those 25k miles. That means I did a lot of gear changes....which means the clutch has seen a lot of use.
SC!

depending on your style.... if you leave your foot on the clutch the entire time you are at a light, it wears out something...( .throw out bearing?) much quicker...... plus it is in general just much harder on the clutch itself compared to driving on the highway....
I agree with SC.

That's what clutches are designed for. Daily traffic won't harm them unless you excessively slip the clutch to get rolling (i.e. start from 2nd). Launching and power shifting is what toasts clutches.
