Fuel system leaking. Any suggestions?

I have the ams 1000hp fuel system and I am having some leaking issues. Everything seems to be properly installed on the fuel sending unit but there is this random hard plastic line that is connected to nothing that is kind of jammed up under the fuel tank. I was the one who shoved it back there on accident after first discovering this problem a few months ago. I havent driven this car since then.

I am leaking fuel out of this small hard plastic line that is above the fuel tank whenever I fill the car up. I dont know if its something thats not connected to the filler neck and is leaking when overfilled because the car does NOT make the gas pump handle click when its full... It just keeps going! I mean when I could see this hard plastic line I could see fuel just spraying out of it like a miniature hose! I probably spilled a gallon or so of gas on top of my gas tank and on the ground when I was filling up a few months ago.

this might make no sense... thanks for the help if it does. I am going to try and post a picture or two tomorrow.

Also... get a fire extinguisher and something to clean up spilled fuel in case of emergency.

Make sure the fire extinguisher is rated properly for fuel spillage.

It's cheap insurance against some errant fireball out of your exhaust torching your car.
