Callies H beam or Manley H Beam Tuff
Looking for 450.00 dollar rods and dont want cheap eagle or manley.
My car is a 2.3 on an FP green. I want to go light as possible on pistons and rods while on a budget. Anyone ever use these?

I couldn't find the weight of the Callie's compstar h beams but I think the Manley h tuff is similar to the skunk 2 alpha rods which are around 627g. Still lighter than I-beam but heavier than the standard h beam. I like that you can get the compstar rods with arp625 bolts for not much more. I wouldn't have reservations using any for a 600hp build. The Callie's and skunk 2 are rated over 800hp but obviously tq is the main factor with h beams.

yeah i need to call callies on monday and find out the weight maybe ill look into skunk rods

I'm 90% certain I will use the skunk 2 rods for my build. I like that they have an extra oil hole provisioned for the pin like the scat rods. Although they are not very common or talked about in evos they have a good reputation in the Honda community and boosted setups holding up to similar power an Evo would be making.
