motor oil capacity IX GSR

i jus want to know the exact motor oil capacity for my 06 IX GSR... i am using 5w30 mobil 1 fully synthetic extended performance and i read on here a whole bunch of diff numbers as to how many quarts go in....i checked my manual and cant find how many quarts to put in... can anybody help me? i dont want to put to much and I DEF DONT WANT to put too little.....the oil is so clean cause i just changed it that its hard to really see it on the dipstick. i bought a 5 quart bottle and used about 4.6 or 4.8 of it so i reall want some help as to if its too little or too much because i cant see it on the dipstick untill it gets a little darker over time.....thanks

officially its 4.7, but it really depends on size and style filter, how how good it was drained, amount in the oil cooler, etc. i typically do around 4.5

you should have no problems seeing clean oil on the dipstick...

how can you not see it on the dipstick? Are you checking it in the middle of the night? Try using a flashlight or looking at it from a different angle...

its not that i cant see the oil because i can but its so clean that its hard to see where it stops on the dipstick but i checked again today after i put about 25 miles on the oil change and it darkened up just enough to really see it on the stick and its a hair above the second indent.....should i take some out or leave it, its literally right above the second indent
