Strange... I just loaded up Evoscan and my MAP is reading -14psig with the engine off!

What does it read with the engine on? If the reading never changes, it definitely needs replaced.

That's the problem, I can't get it running to check the reading, as the only way it runs is pounding on the throttle- which will never result in a steady reading.

I'm really upset I saw this thread when I did. As I was reading I was thinking in my head it's more than likely the map sensor. I wish I was in time, but never the less good luck man.

disconnect your map sensor and an intercooler hose and try starting your car. it should idle relatively fine if your map sensor is ok.

I took the MAP sensor off and threw on the OEM one. Still no go. So I put the Omnipower back on.
After doing that I realized I had a DW300 fuel pump on the bench that was good.
When I pulled the fuel lines off of the module I was suprised there was no fuel pressure, as the guage was reading 40.
I went under the hood and flicked the gauge and sure enough, it was stuck.

This time I turn on evoscan and the MAP is reading -2.2psig with engine off, instead of the -14.3psig it read before.
I go to crank and it fires right up. It was a little rough and missing once in a while, but I let it warm up and it drives as good as ever...?
