The first time my Evo has let me down....
That's the problem, I can't get it running to check the reading, as the only way it runs is pounding on the throttle- which will never result in a steady reading.
disconnect your map sensor and an intercooler hose and try starting your car. it should idle relatively fine if your map sensor is ok.
I took the MAP sensor off and threw on the OEM one. Still no go. So I put the Omnipower back on.
After doing that I realized I had a DW300 fuel pump on the bench that was good.
When I pulled the fuel lines off of the module I was suprised there was no fuel pressure, as the guage was reading 40.
I went under the hood and flicked the gauge and sure enough, it was stuck.
This time I turn on evoscan and the MAP is reading -2.2psig with engine off, instead of the -14.3psig it read before.
I go to crank and it fires right up. It was a little rough and missing once in a while, but I let it warm up and it drives as good as ever...?
