I've had the same problem... Not with the boost but with the AC and bogging down. Check your compressor... Is your AC not as cool as usual too?

Yea I just had the same problem. When you turn the AC on, from time to time it feels like the car just loses power right? Have your AC checked. It usually means your compressor is starting to go (the clutch on it). Try getting the system drained and refilled again (that fixed mine fit some reason)... If that doesn't fix it you might need a new compressor. $99 on eBay used.

If the clutch on the compressor is bad it's messing with the pulley it's on....

I had the AC problem. As soon as I turn it on the car bogs and almost dies or goes down to 200-500rpms.

A tune fixed it.

OP- Are you tuned? If so, how long has it been? Any major mods after the tune?

^^^^^This.. Check your tune.. When ever I have my car tuned I have them turn on the AC to make sure that idle drop or AC isnt an issue.

do you have cams in the car or upgraded valve springs? It happens to almost all of us with cams. My car is able to recover from the initial bog down after like 10 seconds. Other cars will just eventually stall.

Also check your fans and fan replay. I've seen where when the fans are unplugged the car could idle fine.

10 psi is most likely your boost control solenoid. As far as the A/C goes I had the same problem with my car. I solved it by junking the A/C system.

thank u all for the advice so far, i never had the car tuned because its basically stock, the only thing i have is an exhaust n ebc that i disconnected n reconnected the stock solenoid bc i thought it would solve my boost issue. im gonna have my mechanic look at my compressor n check the clutch bc what u guys are describing to me with the cars bogging down n the loss of power, is exactly what my symptoms are. i would like to get rid of the ac system entirely but the gf wouldnt like that very much lol. once again thanks everyone for the help im gonna get my car checked as soon as i can.
