Stalling under Heavy Braking
I purchased an Evo in Febuary of this year, and when the has been running for 10+ Minutes, and I brake hard, the car stalls out and dies. This happens when I engage the clutch and brake at the same time. I am no sure why this happens, and below is a mod list. I'll also seperate the list to show the mods the car had on it when I bought it, since the problem showed before I continued to mod.
Greddy Street Catback Exhaust
Greddy Type-S BOV Vented To Open Air
---------------------
Mod's I've Done
APR CF Cooling Plate
Apex'i Power Intake
Defi Boost Gauge
BR Shifter Cable Bushing
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My bet is the VTA BOV. I don't know a lot about it but I've seen quite a few comments about VTA causing problems with evos stalling out when coming to a stop.
My guess is your losing all the air and with no air to aid combustion your engine just has nothing to keep it going. If you leave your foot off the clutch pedal, the energy from the wheels and drivetrain should keep the engine ticking over...Maybe.

definitely the vented BOV, when the BOV vents to atmosphere it releases metered air that the Maf has measured. This means that you get to much fuel and not enough air and stalls out your motor. It also means you can shoot flames between shifts though. try just blipping your throttle a little after you push in the clutch.
