Exhaust sound control valve?

I've seen that valve that is straight fit in and seem nice and not expansive.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Circuit-Spor...25c75b&vxp=mtr

You can reduce sound level when you see cops on the road and you do not get arrested and get a 48hr to to put your original exhaust (that's what they do in my region).

Is there anyone that have try that? I didn't find a lot of review on that.
It's sure that it's just for use when you see cops because it would make a big back pressure when you close it but do you think it would make a back pressure that can be too bad even when it's full open?
And would it reduce noise enough to be quiet?

Thanks!

Yeah but when the cops is following you or your following him, you just flip the switch and no stress for 100$. I see cops every time I take my car...

And It's nice to have little switch for that, I can be quiet at a corner and the other beside in his mustang is looking the car and saying what is that (cause I'm in montreal and those car have never been sold here), and then you flip the switch and show what the a goddam beast an evo is!

Is there a noise level you cannot pass or something? I have never had an issue with cops and my exhaust. I do not ever hesitate to noise in front of them, as long as you are not speeding or driving like an asshat they can only watch.

the design is smart... but it needs a hole somewhere to let the gas flow when closed. you could drill some holes in it.\\

just looked at another photo, its basically a throttle body/pedal. that little lever is the pedal. i dont know how it works but im guessing it stays constant open and u pull the lever and it'll close. but you have to hold it, it seems because the valve will pull back to open.

someone buy it and try. im too broke, tcase needs fixing first.

I swear, we are getting worse by the days as there are more noobs getting their mittens on these cars!
If you want less noise from the exhaust, put more resonators/muffler in the stream. If that is not enough, put the cat on. Still too loud, put the stock exhaust back on.
OP: The unit you posted is for diverting exhaust to another route. If you could manage to (or get a shop to) put this thing midstream of your exhaust, you will #$%^UP your car!

hey hey, wait before to think people are all noobs with those car.
I like to get sound and I need the performance too when I go track my car.

But if cops arrested you and ask you to wind your car and said it's too loud, you got 48 hrs to put it back to stock in go pass inspection.
After, your stock with you 400hp car that you track with a bone stock exhaust and you car feel like ****.

It happens to couple of friend, usually they wait the next year to put back their exhaust and have fun again...

And yeah, if i'm asking in this thread, it's because i'm not to sure about that ****ty things too and I just wondering if some people have try it and get some review.

How can you be arrested for nothing? Just don't drive like a jackass and you don't get pulled over haha. If a cop told me to rev my engine I would laugh at him.

Then leave your stock exhaust on when you drive on the road. When you get to the track, unbolt the exhaust at the downpipe.

One of the main reason I moved from Toronto, Canada. They are very strict on modifying ANY part of the car. If they catch you go over 50 KPM (30 MPH) they will send your car to the crusher.

P.S I work for American Iron & Metal, the biggest shredder in Quebec, I'm lucky, i could make arrangement if my car get to the crusher.
