Hey Guys,

A year or so ago I purchased a Evo that was built for NASA, It was not put together but had everything needed to get it up and running. Here is my dilemma. I am no longer interesting and do not have the time to put it together. I am leaning towards selling the car or even parting it out. So here is my question, would it be better to part it out or do you think I should put it together and sell it?

Here is what the car has:
Full Moton Three way adjustable coilovers
couple sets of Enkei RP01 wheels
Brand new Full Race Turbo kit with gt35r
Brand new built long block (replaced everything)
Brand new shepard trans
Aim Gauge Cluster
APR Spoiler
Widebody kit (forget who made it)
Full Roll Cage
and a bunch more parts
Motec ECU

What needs to be done to get it back together is put the motor in, some electrical work. So my question is, worth putting it back together or part it out?

 

Depends on if you wanna go through the hassle of parting it out.

that shouldn't be a problem, i purchased a car that use to be a sponsor on here. Do not yet want to say who the shop was until I figure out what I want to do with it

 

Definitely better off putting the motor in the car and getting it running rather than trying to sell a caged shell or in pieces imo. Sounds like a good setup if the parts are all in working order. Of course once you have it all running you might not want to get rid of it.

 

haha, well here is the thing, im not sure how much more I want to dump into it. I am looking for a clean break from it so I can use that money for a different venture, dont want it sitting for another year

 

well it looks like I am going to part the car out, Its going to be more work than anything to get this thing back together than just parting it out. Will have a thread going on soon
