Throttle Issue
Recently I've been having a rather odd issue that I'm hoping to find a solution to. The problem is more distinct the colder the weather.
The problem is that when I first start the car, it is really difficult to push on the gas pedal. It's like there is a 'catch' that won't let the pedal move. The colder it is, the harder it is. When I had to leave my car out overnight the other day it felt like I could put all my weight on the pedal and it wouldn't move. (Of course I didn't.) It feels as if the throttle cable is stuck on something. Eventually, after the car warms up a bit the 'catch' disappears and the throttle is fine. No effort required to push the pedal.
Naturally I check for binding in the throttle cable, but the strange thing is, if I step on the pedal before I start the car, there is no issue at all. As soon as I start the car, it's there.
So.... It seems to me that there is something wrong with the mechanism that opens the throttle a bit when the engine is cold.
Is this an issue that anyone else has seen before? Is there something I can check for dirt or wear or something like that?
Car Info: 2005 VIII GSR, only 'mods' are brass shifter bushings.

I guess I'll answer my own thread.
I searched for everything I could think of before starting the thread. "throttle stick" "stuck pedal" etc. Eventually I just typed in "throttle" and went through the pages.
I found this thread that exactly describes what I'm seeing.

I'm hoping to do some cleaning today. But since I don't have any TB cleaner I'll just do what I can until I can pick some up.
I'll post back here if cleaning helps.
