Hello there, i am planning buying into a new engine for my evo 8 soon, like next summer, and i am looking into a complete crate engine ( block + head ) brand new,
Dsm graveyard are making one, at an interesting (2700-500 with black friday event )
I would like some feedback in this shop, did ever some1 bought a motor from there?
The reason i am buying a crate engine is because where i live there is no good shop for machining block, also, its just less headache with spec and everything,

Read the dsmtuners feedback. You'd be crazy to buy from them.

 

If you are looking to do a crate Motor with no core you will be looking at 8-10k. The core block and head will be 4000 or so alone new and the Rebuild with better parts probably another several grand. If you want to save a little but a used engine and have them Rebuild that. That would save around 1-2k and you wouldn't need to remove yours in the meantime. All AMS motors use new cores. Any other shop will make one with a new core as well. I recommend Fathousefab CBRE or AMS.

 

This COMpany is so deceitful bro! they take forever to ship and they will lie to you about parts i ordered an oem original shortblock and I ended up getting a rebuild with no balancing shaft and I could never get a hold of them again to this day its been 3 months it also took 40 days to get my shortblock and it came in a cracked broken up plastic tote. This company is a real joke.
