Rich idle??
Rich idle??
So my lower Radiator hose blew this morning and the car obviously go hot after. I noticed the temps right at the high mark on the OEM gauge and pulled over and shut it down. I was only a few blocks from my home so i went home for an hour and then walked back fired it up and it would barely run. took 4 or 5 starts to get it to not die after starting. I got it home and i noticed at the light before my house the idle was quite low, around 800RPM (my usual winter idle was 1400rpm, tps just twisted a bit to get the higher idle)
i looked at my gauges and my oil pressure was around 60psi+ when i usually see it under 30PSI at idle. the AFR was in the 10s
i got it home and investigated and found the leaking hose and replaced, topped off fluids and started it back up again. It took 3 or 4 tires again to start and stay running and once again when it finally stayed running RPM was down and i had a high oil pressure over 60psi and the AFR in the low 11s.
I have AEM EMS and SPooling COP. i am about to pull plugs now and check but i dont see how they could really be the issue.
any help would be great.

i think the tune not so good, so the idle would bounce a bit. tuner is 200miles away so i want to get a engine build at the same time if i have to make that kind of trip. i know its a half assed way to do things but i only drive the car once a week if that in the winter. so its not to big of a deal.

took the plugs out
#1 on the right, doesnt smell like fuel, i think its all oil. going to do a compression check. cold engine i got 145PSI on #1 and 150PSI #2 so it seems ok. maybe cracked HG?

When you change your idle, you can do it one of two ways. One is tuning and the second is adjusting the throttle cable. You DON'T mess with the TPS. Now your values are off causing you to have engine problems. Your TPS is suppose to have a value between 535 − 735 mV.
