Im trying to Avoid having to order stuff from japan if i can get from the USA thats better for me.

Just wondering what parts will cross over from the newer Evos to this one..
1998 Evo 5.

Brakes
Valve Cover Gasket
Exhaust Manifold Gasket
Clutch
Suspension/Coilovers

 

I know the evo brakes are all the same from the V-IX, so you are good there. For the clutch, the Evo IV-VI can use a VII-IX clutch if you use the newer flywheel as well. Suspension will be different I know that, for your gaskets I'm not 100% sure but I wanna say they will not work either.

 

The exhaust manifold gasket will be good and valve cover from an 8 will work the 9 is differnt

 

all parts from evo 8 fix in the evo 5... my evo 5 is a evo 8 with evo 5 chassis lol

 

Even suspension? coilovers for an 8 will work with the 5 bolt right up?
