Hey guys , just recently started having problems . My Evo drives fine and was flawless till about a week ago I noticed whenever I pin it and allow the throttle to open 100% , when the car hits full boost it starts to stutter almost. So I changed the plugs out and the oil. Nothing changed however I think it may have gotten worse .

I put iridiums in and I think that may be the problem, however The weather here has been fluctuating ridiculously, 15-20 degrees celcius over night ... So
Im going to try reflashing the ecu and see if that helps .

Does anyone have any other ideas?? Anything will help !

check your couplers, I had this happen to me about a week ago, one of my tbolt clamps wasnt tight enough so when I went WOT I had a nice boost leak, then the clamp failed. do a boost leak test 5 PSI over your target boost. good luck and post your findings if its something else.

 

its probebly bad plugs, Id start with replacing them, if that isnt the issue the next thing id do is get a boost leak test done to see if there are any leaks, if that doesnt work test your coil packs "doubt it is that but you never know"

 

Both good advice. Check for boost leak, and plugs, and report back.
