Need advie, springs or coilovers

Hey guys, im looking at purchasing either coilovers or springs in the near future for my evo 8. The main purpose im getting one of these two is mainly aesthetic i want a mild drop and nothing to low. I was planning on coilovers but was advised my some friends to opt for springs since there going to save me a lot of money, i doubt il ever take my car to the track not really my type of thing. I would be happy to get springs but ive heard some things such as the make the cars handling worse is this true? well i would greatly appreciate your opinion on what i should go for guys. thank you.

I would decide based on the mileage/condition of the current shocks. If they are low mileage I would go for Swift Spec R but if I ran a new coilover the BC Racing are very nice. The BC ones ride extremely smooth IMO.

I have swift springs on bilsteins an it rides great. Has a nice drop in back an about a 1.5 inch gap between my 265/40/18's. Could be lower in the front but it's a nice drop since i hardly ever scrape anything like driveways. Coilovers are expensive, if you go that route don't go cheap. You'll regret it. I went with cheap coils on my 240 an the adjustment plates start seizing after a while.

i say coilovers, you can always adjust the height and change your settings (depends on specs). I recently installed HKS Hipermax and its a lot better than my Cusco's.

I had the same debate but I opted for the Ohlins RT coilover from Muellerized. Awesome customer service and quality parts
