Leak into drivers foot well

Hey guys im new on this forum thing I would love it if some one could give me a bit of advice on a problem I have in my 1996 Evo 4.

I have a leak (rain water) into my drivers foot well, I have located it to the right side of the drivers foot well (right hand drive) it is running down the the side of the inside body behind the wiring loom, i have pulled off the dash, quarter panel, silicon-ed up where all the wires run through the firewall, with no luck on locating the source of the leak, it also does no look like and instant leak its seams like the water maybe tracking because it does not leak straight away.

Would be much appreciated if some one has had a problem like this and could give me some advice on where I should b looking.

Cheers Dan

If it definitely isn't anything obvious like the windshield or door seals, try pulling the fender liner back and spraying behind the fender. I've seen the seams separate back there.

Like posted above, check under your fender liner. I know on the 8s and 9s the loom goes through a plastic box at the top of the arch, and it isn't very water proof. I just had my second battle with the electrical gremlin
