can you get info on why it was salvaged? that should better help you with your decision.
he prolly got 80k from the seller who sold him the evo 9 motor.

to be honest, i buy salvage cars, its no big deal. the only problem is how legit the seller is and there is basically no resale value. so your gonna have to buy to keep.
depending on status of the salvage i wouldnt buy it for his asking price. prolly more like 10k max
you have to check the transfer case too for noises, cause its an expensive part to get fixed.
