so i bought a used evo IX mr and the previous owner thought he was making a race car and pulled every bit of the ac system out except for the evaporator core and expansion valve. if anyone has a good vendor i could use for refurbished or used a/c parts that would be fantastic. mitsu dealer quoted me $4100 just for parts and i'm looking to do better than that.

First, you could try mitsubishiparts on the web.
Second... plenty of people have parts that were removed in the FS section. Maybe you'll find someone to post up here?

 

I re-installed whole A/C system.
I got most parts from mitsubishiparts such as specific mounting bolts for compressor.
Also, try to find used part from people who do parts-out.
