2.0 long rod vs 2.4 long rod
Um...not true. My friends car just put down 590whp in 100 degree ambient temp on a 2.3 w/ a 3586 on ethanol @ 25psi on MAP's dynojet (704whp/590wtq @ 36psi). Thats definitely in the realm of possibility in better weather. Hell my ROAD RACING (low timing) PUMP GAS tune puts down over 560whp on a 6266 @ 25psi. With a ***** out tune 586whp is definitely possible at 23psi with that motor/turbo set up. Not a tune I would go road racing with though.

**although being that you are Buschur powered I can see why you see mustang as the norm**

and 586whp with his setup is very possible at 23lbs sounds like he has a very efficient setup 12.5.1 is not the norm also other things come into play cams headwork fuel ect it takes me 28lbs to make what he does on a dynojet btw 10.1 2.3.

Whats wrong wit 720 @ 23 psi . My 2.4 is not your every day duild . Its 12.5.1 compression on 156 aluminum rods on a very light crank , ond my turbo housing is ported also with a lot of head work , if some on can pm me on how to put pics up un this dam site i will b more than willing ro show some proff . The car made 586.8 hp. 446.6 qt which is @ a 25 % losss .
Unless you are trying to spin the motor past 9k a 2.4 LR would be better in every way then a 2.0 in any venue.
Hell I think ER spins their 2.4 builds to 9k or beyond
