im still new to evo but to make a long story short my old motor lost compression so I just went and got a new one long block,

I just recently did a motor swap on my evo 8, it's a 05 evo 8 engine to a 03 evo 8 chassis to be clear, motor does turn over there is fuel but no sparks, anyone has a idea? using my old engine harness as well.

I did some researching and it says something about cam angle sensor? the sensor on the new motor is a bit loose because it has a crack in the plastic butt & the one on my old motor broke off when it got hook when i hoist it, the new motor was running before swaped it in, I'm starting the car with a AEM ecu because that what came with the car and was doing fine with my old motor, I also bought evo 8 ecu that will need to be flash once i get it to a tuner. lmk if anyone can help? I can get videos or take pictures if it helps

 

Seems like the CAS is the first thing I'd check?
