Left radio + AC on while changing my brakes.
Here is what I was trying to do, I changed my brake before, so it was time to change the rear brakes this time.
While I was working on changing my last wheel, my radio cut off, I look inside, and couldn't turn the radio back on, saw my gauge and it was say 10 volts for battery, and I tried to start the car but it did not, it sounded like the battery was completely drained (This is my 2nd battery)
I not sure what to do, so I took out the battery and took it to an autozone, they told me the battery was bad and there was nothing they could do for me other then sell me a new one.
I am not sure what to do, buy a new one for autozone, wait till tomorrow to call a dealer ship and see what warranty work they can help me.
The whole point for me to change my brakes myself was to say $200 on labor. Now I might have to buy a new battery?
EDIT: The battery is out of the car, if I put the battery back in, and I try to start the car by pushing it and poping the clutch to get it running, would that work?

You drained the battery from having the car not running while operating an accessory(radio). Usually you're supposed to charge the battery before testing. Did they put the battery on a tester at all? Push starting the car while dead battery connected might work, unless the battery is too far drained.
I don't know, all they told me is it was a bad battery and they showed me the tester saying it, I am not sure how well the tester was?
Well I was running radio + ac (for 2-3 hours), and the car has been off for more then a day.
When I tried to start it, it made the same sound it made few years ago when the battery died.
I am kind of screwed since I have no form of transportation now, I will call a dealership and see what they can do.

Since it was drained it most likely will fail the tester. I would have recommended jump starting it and letting it run, or ideally put it on a slow charger. Depending on how old that battery is it might have been ok. Problem is, that if Autozone puts it on their charger your gonna ruin it. Most of them don't have a good slow charger, they usually put it on their regular chargers which is a fast high amperage charger. That will just kill the battery. I know this because I have worked at Autozone and this was a typical occurance. They are there to sell you a battery.
If the battery is less than say 3 years old, it will most likely charge back up. I have seen them fail testers only because they are drained. Most battery testers are just retarded like that. Put a slow charger on it and when its done run it in the car and let it run a few minutes and I bet after you shut the car off and re test it, it will test good with the same charger. G/L

why would you run "full ignition" instead of just the accessories? no reason to run AC if you're not in the car
also your battery isn't dead, and batteries usually have a 5-year warranty. just jump the car

You need to add a battery charger to your tool inventory. I have a habit of killing my battery and I do it at the most inopportune times. Ten minutes of charging at 10 amps and I am good to go.
I don't have cables and don't know who to get a jump from, I been asking people but no one ever wants to help jump or do anything of these things.
I got the batter back in '09, I feel like I drained it because I let it run out. It might be really low like some people say.
I might have to invest on jumper cables and battery test but for now I am struck right now.

If you can't afford a battery, I think that other maintenance issues on this car are going to kill you.
Also what do you mean you don't know who to ask to jump you? You literally have no friends with cars?

That would be the case of draining your battery. Happens to me in my minivan
but I don't have the AC on. Normally cuts out after an hour or more. It's a new to few months old in condition and just put my slow charge on it. Starts right up after.
I don't want to state something I don't know 100% but it is only logical that the tester will show bad battery if they didn't recharge it first.

OP you most likely do not need to purchase a new battery or even a battery charger.
Find somebody with jumper cables who will jump your car. Then let the car idle for a while or drive it around and the alternator should charge the battery back up.

Do you have AAA? Call in for a jump.
Don't purchase your battery from the dealership.. Go to Pepboys or Autozone or any other automotive store that sells car batteries.
Where are your friends to help ya out?

Unfortunately no I don't have anyone (who is willing) who can help me here, I will can call AAA, my insurance, see if I can get something for free done here, but my whole intent with this job was to save $200 on brake install which I did myself, but I left the car in ON with AC running on low and radio blasting as I was changing my brakes.
Kind of screwed myself here while trying to save money, I live in an apartment complex were you park your car under the building in its gated garage. So I really don't think I can get towed out of here, only chose is to beg people for a jumb (which I hate doing) or call insurance/aaa/something else.
I can buy a new battery but I really want to stay away from spending any money now.

You can get towed out of your garage ... no problem....Don't you see the Tow Warning signs throughout your garage? Trust me....you can if you get to the point where you want to tow it out of there.
If you don't have AAA, it will cost you for a membership so that may not be your best route yet, but I highly suggest it once you've sorted out this current dilemma you put yourself into .... cheap insurance for a minimal yearly fee!
Sucks for you and I feel your pain but you have to bite the bullet and get it jumped somehow and then determine if you are fine or need a new battery.
Go buy yourself some cheap jumpers....$14.95 and up....keep them in your trunk to help yourself or someone else out...I've helped jump several cars since owning my Evo.
