With all do respect this is just a bad idea lol not to mention probably very expensive to do.I own both the x is comfortable and more attractive car than the 8 but the 8 is where its at if you want a faster car.

 

Comfortable yes, attractive no! The X looks like any other Toyota, Honda new car. As for the 4B11 swap its stupid.

 

I love my 8 but the longer I own the x the more the body style has grown on me.

 

Definitely agree with this! But not only is the block different, pretty sure the transmission is different as well, so might have to swap that out too. Don't think it's as easy as plug and play, and viola, done!

I wouldnt bother with a evo X motor. Those things are a disappointment and a half. I would stick with the 4g63.

 

Please don't buy an Evo, get a wrx those guys already look stupid so youll fit right in.
