Evo x motor in evo 8

Hey everyone nee here me and my friend have been putting together a stock evo and we did our research and need some help to make it faster. How do we install the evo x block in our car or at least bolt the head on to make it cooler.

Mitsubishi said the head is a lot better or we could swap the motor in there and call it done so we don't have to strip down the engine.

you already have a 4G63 which is superior to the evo x engine why even consider swapping it out?

Lol....don't take it the wrong way but the 4G63 is stronger dude...the 4B11 is still a hell of a motor though. Keep the 4G.

They made the x to meet new emissions and safety standards. I'll stop there because you have got to be just trolling.

Please be the first to try. Its not gonna just drop right in, your gonna need major fab work to get everything to work. I mean cant you see the exhaust sides of the heads face opposite directions?

The 4b11 block is a downgrade from the 4g63. Just because its newer doesnt mean its better

Right on aluminum block would sure lighten it up and if you're a weight weenie it makes sense. Crazier swaps have been common practice for years!
