No idea how this will play out, but I ordered a case off of Amazon anyway.

Discuss.

Taking it off the shelves in the US because of its color is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. I was expecting it to be due to the formula and some harmful chemical at least but the color, really?

Didnt America get past this "color" thing back in the 60's with the Civil Rights Act?

I just want to know the logic for not allowing brake fluid to be any color other than clear or amber.

Was this to keep idiots from putting it in their radiators or feeding it to their kids as fruit juice?

2nd to last paragraph in the letter from Continental explains the reasoning.

The only explanation I've read is that the government mandated "back in the day" that specific fluids much be specific colors to assist in the tracking down of fluid leaks.

OK I guess the discrimination lives on, haha

I wonder, is ATE allowed to advertise their fluid as "For Off-Road Use Only" I dont see how something like this would last.

Try the Brembo LCF 600+, you'll like it even better.
