UICP Bung

While driving the UICP popped off and at the same time broke an electrical plug that goes in to the bung. What is it, probably a dumb question but I just need to fix it asap, I'm also on a speed density set up if that matters.

I added a picture on a second post

Its on the pipe towards the end of the piping. Maybe 1 ft before the IC.

Can't see your picture. Sounds like a inlet air temperature sensor.

Thank you so much! I was thinking it was an IAT Sensor, learn something new everyday . Thanks again, I'll be purchasing this right now. Side question, the photo wouldn't open? I'll try and see what's up with that.

Edit: I noticed people are saying the IAT sensor is toward the throttle body and this isn't. It's throttle body, DV, then this electrical plug. Again idk if having a speed density set up changes that for me. Ill keep researching but will buy this Sensor regardless. In case it is the one or if not, if it ever fails I have it ready

Last edit: just read up that you can place the sensor anywhere on the piping. IAT it has to be. Thank you again !

there are no bungs (save for bov recirc) on the factory UICP. it probably has to do with your SD conversion. your picture doesn't work. try uploading to imgur and going from there.

...although it sounds like an AIT can't be sure without seeing it.

Get it from spoolinup, 68$ is a rip. Or if there is a NAPA near you, they would have it to. It's a simple GM sensor.

Alrighty, I work at advance auto parts so I can probably pick something up from there. If not there's a NAPA down the road, this particular one though is over priced. But thank you guys! I Appreciate all the help!
