side effects of routing heater hose?

side effects of routing heater hose?

looking to cut down the interior temps as i live in the tropics theres no need for the heater and whenever the ac is off the heater blows lightly into the front footwells it was suggested in another post that i reroute the heater hose is there any side effects i should consider before doing this?

as long as you loop the hose back then its not an issue...
