Lancer evo where i can find you ?

Hello everybody, i'm a french guy so excuse me for my English.

At this moment i'm driving a GTI V (200cv) but i want an evo since very long time. I have just a little problem, in France we don't have lancer evolution 's distributor.

In fact yes but only for the evo 9 and 10. But i want the evo VII RS or TME or VIII.
In France Kings are Mercedes, BMW and Audi. I drived RS6 and maserati 3200gt many times but it´s too expensive. my dream is lancer evo and one day a GTR R34. But for this moment i would like to have my first evo. i hope one day...

If you have informations for me to import evo 4,5,6,7 in France i will be very happy to discuss with my US friends

If You can answer to my question :
what can i buy with 15000€, for you 20 000 dollars.

bonne journée et merci

Your best option is to look at importing from Japan, there is a few companys here in Canada that bring cars here but they could help you as well. I am unaware if you have local companies that do the same but here are some links to Canadian companys that are good and could accomodate you.

$20,000 would get you a very nice Evo of your choice.

Check out Tyeeimports.com, jdmconnection.ca, tradecarview.com (japan site that serves globally)

ok guys thank you very much for your replies.
and the evo 9 is great but in France it´s 30 000 dollars (20 000 €) like a bmw m5 v10.
m5 v10 is fun but it's 150 dollars for each passage in gas station

this evo 9 cost 30 000 dollars with 49 000 miles

Whatever you do, buy a car from within the EU, and research what you will need to do to get it registered/tested/titled/plated in France IN ADVANCE!

You do NOT want a car that you paid good money for, that you cannot get through emissions testing or cannot get plates for, the seller is in Absurdistan and you cannot sell the car or drive it in France.

bonjour et bienvenue!

I have seen quite a few folk in England that have access to the older model EVOs you're seeking. I know NOTHING about what it would entail buying a car in England and then driving it/shipping it to France for all the really fun parts about buying a car these days. But, I'd start there, definitely a big following of the EVO community there. Probably not much help, but it's worth a shot.

I'm sure the original poster knows this, but keep in mind that any UK-spec (or Japan-spec) Evo will be right-hand drive. I have no idea if that will result in trouble for registration in France, or if it appeals to the original poster at all.
