You got pulled on by an RSX?
We are talking about an Evo racing an RSX right, not a Lancer OZ or some **** like that right.
If it's an evo, who ever is tuning your car needs to stop. I can turn off my boost controller, which drops it to 10psi, and still smoke that RSX

I do not know what he is talking about. I pulled an S2000 from 80-140+. He also had stuff on his car. I only had an open air intake and a blow off valve on my 03 EVO 8! Yeah, it does not have top end like a vette, but come on, it is also not 6 liters of displacement.
As far as the STI is concerned. That car pulls until 150+. I would know I have one!

I'm not sure what kind of Evo you have, but my evo w/ a flash,TBE,MBC,Fuel pump,intake ran a vette all the way to 160 (on an undisclosed closed course)from 80 mph. Now it pulls hard from 3500-7800(my stock tack shows 8000 rpms) w/ cams,headers & o2 housing, as opposed to falling off around 6800 w/ stock cams. Sams are a GREAT mod!
Don't underestimate those lightly modified RSX Type S if you're near/stock from an 80+ roll unless you plan on driving passed 110. 4th gear has no ***** whatsoever from a roll if stock.

if a rsx was tailing you during those speeds, especially he knows its an evo.. then more than likely the rsx must of been modified more than just an exhaust.
the weird thing is my evo pulls pretty hard when im going around 70-80mph, i think my evo is stock?

05-06 RSX-s can beat a stock evo or slighlty modded evo from a roll. I know, a friend of mine with I/RH/E beat my friends evo, and I was in the evo video taping. I would post the vid, but after reading the replies you all would call bs and I wouldn't want to hurt peoples ego.
The wierd thing about it is, when my friend would shift at around 7krpm, my friend type-s would keep going to 8300rpms and we could hear his engine climbing and slowly walking us, it was insane.

haha yea i just noticed that this thread is from 04...oh wells...yup thats our weakness...i saw a video once that the evo lost to a Fiat...they started on 5th gear and the Evo couldnt catch up...overall PERFECT shifting is our weapon aside from any mods is one of their conclusion.... i think it was Top Gear.
Its hard to believe but its true my Friends 05 mr with a arc air box and a cat back lost to a rsx with headers and exhaust and a chip from a 60 roll. But from 20 it was a whole different story
