Forgot to mention, the car does "clunk" sometimes when putting it into first gear at a stop.

Wow, that does sound like a woodpecker, good call. I have a rattle at low RPM too but I'm pretty sure it's my exhaust rattling on the cross member, not like your sound. Good luck man, I know how irritating that can be

Thanks for the video, its very helpful in helping you out. To me it sounds like one of the two:

1) rod knock
2) rocker arm came loose and is rattling around in there

Pull the valve cover and check out your valve train. That would be my next course of action was I in your shoes.

Thanks for the info. If it was engine related, it would change with rpms. The sound it the same at 1k vs 3500 rpms, (Range I hear it).
I'll take a look under the cover though.

Not to complicate matters any worse but if the vibrations harmonize at those rpms it could be just that special frequency that rattles whatever it is.

Ya that's what's making me upset. Anyone else have any thoughts? UPDATE: even with the clutch pushed in or released, in or out of gear, it makes the same sound only when rolling and a little upon acceleration.

The car does shake a little on very tight turns accelerating, gonna change the diff and t-case fluids and see if that helps.

He hasn’t been on Evom since April 14,2015 lol. So basically I think the motor was bad and he got out the game.
