Hoping someone could help me with my 2005 VIII. My A/C is only working with the dial is turned to max A/C. The A/C does also does not engage (like it used to) when the front defogger is enabled. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Interested in seeing if that's normal-- mine has only worked that way..its an '04 I have had for 8yrs.

 

I could press the A/C button at anytime before. Did not need to be turned all the way to max A/C. Had a repair done after and accident (flying debris) and now has stopped working since the dash was put back.

 

IT could be a loose harness or something like that. Its really easy to pull that dash apart and check. Just pull out the knobs and take out the two screws and then the whole piece will just pop off.
