Question to Evos that run Evo5/6 Ecu

Hello Evom

I have a JDM Evo IV that I am planning to mod with basic bolt ons with supporting mods. I have owned the car for almost 2 years. It is pretty much stock except for cat back exhaust and a boost gauge (not sure if its an EBC, I haven't figured it out since I cant tune yet). I already have an APS Dual vent BOV/DV. Here are the mods I am planning to get

- MAPerformance 02 downpipe eliminator plus test pipe (emission testing will not be required in BC starting this year I heard)
- Intercooler piping
- speed density intake (pipe and filter)
- MAPerformance speed density package (4bar map + AIT Sensor)
- 255 walbro fuel pump
- 560 injectors
- evo 5/6 ecu

I am only planning to have a conservative tune. As it sits right now, the most boost I've seen is almost 1 bar. I think the stock boost is 13 psi so that's about right. I also would like to have a speed density tune on pump gas only.

Here is the question - will the evo 5/6 ecu be suffice for the mods listed above?

If your changing ECU's, my advice would be to get an Evo 8 ECU so that you can get at all the Tephra mod goodness.

It takes about 30 minutes to do an ECU swap. We have done over 20 on Ev 4,5,6 not a big deal.

Throw that Evo 6 ecu away.

Shouldnt be a problem. If you cant find a stock 5/6 ECU, I have a PowerFC in box that'll handle anything you throw at it.
