Cel on but no dtc after new map

Was not able to get any replies on the tuning boards so maybe i can get answers here.

My tuner loaded a new map wherein we adjusted for throttle hang and idle dip, car seems pretty ok after the new map however my cel started to come on and everytime i check the codes from my generic obd scantool it says that there are no dtc and it just tells me to unhook the baterry for 5 mins. But when i do that the cel comes back on after driving for 5-10 mins everytime. No matter how much times i unplug the battery it just keeps coming back. I also noticed that some of my scantool features are no longer accessible after the last map like live data and actuator testing. But before i had access to these features with no issues at all. Could there be something in the map causing this? Should i be worried about the cel? I already talked to the tuner about the issues and decide that we will load back the last map prior to the idle adjustments we made, problem is i have to wait for him in about 3 weeks and the cel is getting me restless a bit. I also went to the mitsubishi dealer to try and get dtc if any but their scantool wont connect to the ecu as well, before i already took it to them and their scantool was able to connect. It makes me wonder if the last map would cause these issues? Thanks for the help guys.
