the only thing different that I've done within the last few days is completely fill up the gas tank. I have a 80,000 miles if that makes any difference. what could it be? thanks in advance.

 

Never mind guys, just found out I forgot to tighten the gas cap. silly me!

 

Lol, glad you got is sorted out. And for future reference a CEL can be triggered by a plethora of things. So next time that happens the only way to figure it out is to pull the code. If you dont have evoscan or a code reader you can get them checked for free by most auto parts stores

 

Yeah like John from autozone with his gangsta code reader can tell you everything about your evo lol.
