EVO VIII misfiring

Hey! I'm pretty new to being an EVO owner, and not really familiar with cars, so I thought here would be the perfect place to begin with an issue I've overcame.

So, to begin I have a 2003 Mitsubishi EVO VIII, and it runs fine. When it gets high boost and roughly around 4k RPM it starts to misfire. I'm not really sure what might cause this, but my friend was suggesting replacing the spark plugs and/or flushing out the fuel injectors. I'm only asking because some of you have worked with EVO's for years and you probably know whats best. The car is able to drive fine, except for the fact its misfiring at high boost.

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

No, and I'm not really sure how. If you could point me in the right direction that would be amazing.

what are your mods and is it tuned? I am willing to bet your car either needs spark plugs gapped correctly or you are not tuned for mods on the car.

It's stock except the air filter, and the exhaust. I just bought spark plugs/wires/sea foam so I'll update this thread if anything happens.

is it a full turboback or catback? make sure you gap them to .023-.025 on stock boost. also, what plugs did you get?
