Fuel sending unit -6 to stock fitting?

What fitting do i need to go from the stock fuel sending unit to a female -6 AN line. I’m upgrading my fuel lines and using the stock sending unit for now. I know they make them just don’t remember where they were at.

I am looking at doing the same thing. Getting rid of my double 255's and going a single 450 in the stock hanger. I want to know the same thing. I don't have my old sender around to measure. Hopefully someone replies that has used them.

I wanted to do it the right way and get the fitting above that i linked but i ended up just cutting the -6 female end off and it fits perfectly around the sending unit nipple and used two hose clamps. I’m sure if you are going to a -8 line you would need the rite adapter. One thing I noticed is you would want a 90 degree at the top of the hanger to make the installation because of the angle the fuel nipple comes out of the hanger.
I know -6 is not a lot larger than the stock size but it is larger and the line I used is made for e85. I added a fuel lab filter by the rail to help with the black goo issues I sometimes get from e85. I never have liked the fuel filter in the hanger. I don’t think you can even service those.

I have to look it up, I will get you a part number later today. It is a push lock to AN fitting.

This is the fitting you need to go straight off the OEM fuel pump housing, it is 3/8" ID SAE to -6AN
http://www.jegs.com/i/Russell/799/64...oductId=819594

The other fitting link above, is for the stock feed line 5/16" ID SAE to -6AN underneath the car...

This fitting from extreme psi will adapt the oem bubble flare in the engine bay to -6AN to go from the stock hardline to the rail

I used the other kind, the one that isn't quick disconnect. See part #644110 on this page.

I was looking at the threaded retainer ones as well. How does it hold up? I'm afraid cranking it all the way down will crack the outlet.

Yeah, on the pump hanger side you might want to consider the quick release one that Freddie provided, part numbers also found in the section above the one I used.
I went with a Squash Performance double pumper so I didn't use the OEM hanger. The fitting I used was one the factory 5/16" hard line under the car and it was pretty hard to get it on so I would advise against using that fitting on the plastic pump hanger assembly.

Just installed the jegs 3/8 to -8 fitting. Double o-ring and a pain to get on. Be very careful pushing/pressing it on.

With the -8 you will have to trim the metal housing retainer ring. I can't say for sure about the -6 because I didn't use it.

555-103101 Is the -6 quick connect

555-103102 Is the -8

Russell has the same thing in blue.

IMHO -8AN is overkill for the oem hangar assembly because of the ID of the hangar assembly itself...

You're probably right and I was waiting for somebody to say it. I have -8 already ran from the double pumper and I'm not going to replace it.
