HELP Evo x recaros into Evo 8

So originally wedge engineering told me that they had brackets that would attach and mount the Evo x seats directly into the Evo 8. Called them today and suddenly they no longer have them.

Can SOMEONE please tell me if there are bolt on seat rails. I've heard some mentioned but can't find them, also all the threads involving modifying the rails yourself have no more photos since the threads are older.

Help please

Cheers
Colton

Haha I've read that thread at least a dozen times but he mentions he forgot to put pictures of the actual completed rails. Thank you for the contact though!!! I wrote to him already.

You can take the stock rails from the X seats and remove the brackets. Then take the brackets from stock 8 or 9 rails and bolt them to the X sliders. There are holes that line up that you use to bolt them together. Just line the two sets up next to each other and you will see how they line up. you will need to grind the wields off the X rails to get the brackets off, the 8-9 brackets are only bolted in place.

I would personally just get a set of Binary lowering brackets and mount them to the X rails.

Hope this helps,
-Tim

Then the binary brackets will just bolt on similar to how the 8/9 brackets would?

Sorry for the late reply. The binary brackets will bolt on to the X sliders in the same way they bolt to 8/9 sliders. If you look at a stock setup from a X seat next to a set from a 8/9, you will see what needs to be done.
