Evo ix mr. Built lower end

Every so often when I pull up to a light the car just dies. It usually starts right back up but today it took a few tries. It has died probably a dozen timeS all at street lights.

On the freeway though at cruising speed. It's like the gas pedal becomes unresponsive for a moment then comes back to normal operation, car does not die at this time but need problem figured out

 

any pending cel codes? I'd assume a timing issue. cam sensor or crank sensor malfunction. I'd lean towards emissions hose cracked but you mentioned the accel pedal being unresponsive.

 

No cel lights just happens randomly.

 

A pending CEL wont illuminate on the dash. You have to plug in a scanner.
