Evo 9 timing belt - Timing belt tension arm move freely moving
I am doing a head stud install. So i basically did new timing belt, water pump, all pulleys, front main seal, balance shaft belt, head gasket while the head was out. Basically a 60k mile service.... 40k miles too early haha.
Just having an issue with the timing belt tension arm... FSM calls for a torque spec of 16 Ft pounds +/- 2. I torqued it to what the manual says but it arm does not move freely.... I put some anti seize both sides and the inside of the arm that pivots... still it seems like its binding to something....
Ill have another crack at it tomorrow.
Has any one encountered this issue?
