new to the evo world cross addicted from 240sx
thanks guys!
no imeddiate plans on getting a lip. i really want a oem one but not ready to drop that much for a part i dont need. its pretty nice to go through big dips or inclines and the car doesnt scrape at all. i want to take it to the 1/4 mile one day and see what it runs.

Good looking evo. I have a lightning yellow 8 also and live about 30mins north of Austin in temple. I know the feeling I had a s13 with a mild sr around 400whp and was a lot of fun but the evo is hands down one of the best all around cars I have owned. once I am done with the turbo swap and get a tune we need to do a cruise. there are a few evos around Killeen in our group. join awd mosters on facebook.
Where did you get your paint? I need to repaint my hood.

i would agree being a car enthusiast you can save alot of money and and maybe even time welding and painting yourself. i just got a everlast tig machine about a year ago and have been slowly progressing. its really enjoyable..
modified my exhaust multiple times here is one weld from the modified catback

tack welded vc baffle bolts after tapping the cover and modifiying the ports

heres a pic of the engine bay from a few months back. saved a little also by making my own 4" intake pipe

im really happy i picked up welding.
