Smile Evo 8 Mr spec

Viewing an Evo 8 tomorrow and owner has it listed as an mr280.
Anyone any details on what all come on the MR model.
Thanks in advance
Thought it should be stamped Mr around gearstick

MR's should have the MR center console plate and a 6 speed. Here are some photos from the interior of my Evo 8 MR. I believe all MR's also come with the Mitsubishi Auxillary Gauges that are seen in my photos.

MR models come with the 6 speed. If you are referring to the numbers on the shift knob, those are the gear numbers.

Not 100% sure but that might be an FQ model EVO. I didn't know they came with plated numbers.

It's a bit strange how the plate is so off centered as well, and the font print seems to be low quality.

Maybe someone can confirm if these plates exist, or have otherwise been installed by the owner, possibly to raise the sale value?

The MR has bilstien shocks and BBS, just treat it as an Evo 8, if it's over priced above that cause it has a build number forget it

overseas everything has a model assigned to it. 280's are a normal evo, nothing special. MR will be marked as an MR, no numbers. FQ260, FQ280, FQ300, FQ320, FQ340, FQ400 are the different models. MR models would be like FQ340 MR or something similar

he just got his prefixes messed up

I think that Mitsubishi UK made the numbers plaque on the Evolution VIII 260 as well.
It just states the number, not FQ.

this indicates it was the 878th car created of the production line out of a certain amount created. as said not sure weather it is an mr or not but definitely not an fq as plaque is different and definitely came with 6 speed gearboxes
