Hey guys, I have an evo 9 MR and around 10 months ago I had clogged fuel injectors, so I've got them cleaned. Then after 3-4 months of cleaning them I had the same problem, so I bought a new fuel injectors and the problem was solved. And now I'm experiencing the same symptoms of clogged fuel injector. So the question is, what causes the fuel injectors to get clogged? I've checked the ignition coil, spark plugs and they are both fine. So It must be clogged fuel injectors again. I will get them checked and cleaned tomorrow but I need to know why are they getting clogged.

aem fuel pump
straight pipe exhaust

btw its tuned and runs 98 oct

 

Stop getting gas from those places. :}

 

what symptoms are you experiencing?

 

Do you think 98 oct is causing the problem? I can switch back to 95 oct because I was using 95 for like 5 months and then I switched to 98 oct.

 

Very bad idle, increased fuel consumption, and it cannot reach high RPM on WOT.

 

I forgot to mention that engine light is on with P0304 and P0201
