Evo life....continues
So I was ready to sell my evo and move on...but the wife decided for me that knowing I love the car too much and will never be satisfied with anything more than my 4G63 pile of turd. She told me I cannot sell it.

Congrats!
also I just got the HTA71 on my built 2.0, it is certainly loud lol. I haven't quite worked out why Im not getting more than 13psi but 13psi on it feels pretty great compared to the evo 4 turbo I had prior on a low compression engine.
That little clip was so easy to replace, Im mad I didnt do it much sooner.

Others have said that due to the 84mm surge cover.
I will expect to increase volume and hopefully get less. Expect more, get less type of thought process.
I hope this setup gets me to or very close to my goals of 400awhp -375/400tq.
Already have kelford 272 cams, cam gears, ARP L19 STUDS, walbro 255, ams fmic, TBE, etc
More reviews on what to expect of a hta71 evo would be appreciated.

Congrats!, you'll fall back in love with it once you are done with the upgrades.
I have the 82mm anti-surge cover on my turbo and it's pretty loud too. I was worried for a while thinking I had a bad boost leak or something lol thing sounds like a constant whistle/jet plane

Sound like the wifey is a keeper too. One that understands boys and their toys is a rare one indeed.
Just be careful, even with one of those rare wifes, like I have, something like this tends to slightly upset them. See attached photo.

Thanks man.
I am waiting to hear from TSE for the next meet. Hopefully, Howard will get it rolling this Spring/Summer.
Mileage is at 144k.
I bought her almost 5 years ago with 116k. So 28k miles in 4+ years.
