Confused regarding realistic performannce???

Hi,
I live in Cairns Australia, I have spent many years slowly building my Evo 6.5
I recently decided to upgrade my turbo, intake and throttle body.

I keep getting told buy a tuner that hitting hitting the 400awhp mark will be unsafe (even if it is possible).... and to get anymore I will require E85

To be honest I am kinda pissed off so I would like to know on Aus 98oct (approx US 92/93 oct) is my car able to make decent numbers? or have I wasted my time on my lancer?

Car currently making 360bhp 533ftlbs torque.... which the tuners seem pretty proud of????? WTF??? I have been told it is impossible to make over 400hp without e85 or meth injection. Is this true? If it is, I have wasted my time/money building this car.

First Tune (Hi Low boost)

Was not happy so I sent it back...

Second Tune (Cams were not dialed in correctly so they adjusted them)

******* your tq is way over your HP.
im not too familiar on the differences from your engine to mine but if its anything like the evo 8 4G63 you can easily make more HP than that and you might need a new tuner..

Torque seems very high and likely to wreck a stock transfer case.

Given that there may very well be differences in the dyno you guys use down there, I would reach out to these two shops and see what they think

Torque is likely in Nm, which is why its so high.

Is this a stock turbo? That would explain why power is low.

You have a decently long mod list, with a built block and a turbo that should make 400whp easily.
Can you get a better picture of your dyno sheet? How much boost?

Thats quite a list of mods for hp numbers in the 300s i got a feeling you might need a new tuner alot of evo owners who have gone down the modding route got those numbers on a stock motor with at the very least a fuel pump upgrade and upped boost with your extensive mod list your power numbers should be way past 500hp especially with a built motor ditch your tuner now and bring that beast in hiding to a different shop and see what they get out of it.

Check out and make contact with Benny @ Benchmark Solutions. He is on facebook and is widely regarded as one of the best tuners in the eastern states. I know he flies into various areas to tune cars, so at the very least he could provide you with support from his knowledge of the evo platform.. hope this helps

Compression should b fine, engine was taken apart and machined prior to turbo install (2 months ago)

Also I wouldn't pay attention to engine mileage, this like my 3rd one.... Sigh....
