Hello this is my first post so bear with me, I turned the car off like normal, then about 2 hours later i needed to go buy something, i get on the car and try to turn it on but it there is like a really weird sound then after like 1-2 seconds the noise stops and you hear the starter spinning, i checked the flywheel and it looks like new, changed the starter still does the same thing. It still doesn't turn on
Help please!! I would really appreciate it.

Pull the starter and bar the engine over until you've viewed all the teeth on the flywheel looking for missing teeth.

Sorry guys for wasting your time but apparently the starter i bought after that broken one was actually broken also so then i just ordered a third one from orlando and my car started just fine! Thanks for the help anyways.

I once visited a factory (I guess that is the correct term) where they remanufactured alternators and starters. I was there looking for a vacuum cruise control for a collector car. The place turned out to be a big quonset with dirt floors, dim lights and no heat, the workers were wearing coats. Also, no joy on the cruise control.

I don't know if every remanufacturer is like this, I've only visited one. But, I was not impressed.
