All joking aside, I know there is buyer-beware in any case when purchasing a vehicle. Waiting to get more information from the buyer of the car, as I haven't heard back yet, nor do I know anything further about the vehicle than what is on the CL link.

Opinions on this For Sale link? Reasonable Price or still to high for a car that "probably doesn't run", don't touch it with a 10 foot pole, etc. etc.?

For $12 can't go wrong.

 

I'd say to just wait for another to pop up or look at the craigslist of other cities close to you. That price seems a bit high for one that needs engine work imo and who knows what other problems you might encounter with it. Here's one near me (San Antonio, TX) that's basically the same price but in great working condition.

I agree that $12.5k for an evo that NEEDS internal engine work, may be a bit high.
