No O2 bung in AMS turbo kit

I have a gt35r turbo kit from AMS and it was purchased around 7 years ago. The problem now is it doesn't have an O2 bung in the O2 housing and the waste gate is connected to the housing. Should i removed the Housing and get one welded in or what do y'all recommend. thanks

use narrowband simulation from your wideband.

yah your either going to have to do some research on this, or consult a tuner, but basically you just unplug the front 02 sensor and remove it. Then wire in the simulated narrowband output from your wideband into your ecu and apply the heater cel patch.

Ummm i can't really say which is the path of least resistance for you. I ditched my front 02 sensor and am using narrowband simulation. When my OEM sensor died i just didn't bother replacing it. Depending how handy/motivated you are, using the narrowband signal from your wideband could potentially cost you nothing and remove an expensive sensor that is bound to fail at some point. On the other hand if its easier for you to just have a bung welded on and slap the housing back on the car then that might be the better solution for you.
