Suggestions on how to ship a headliner?
Looking to purchase a headliner from a member on here but we are trying to figure out what would be the best way to ship. Please post suggestions, especially if you have done it before. Thanks!
Fed ex sells a big tv size box, or a big tv box. Use 2 boxes, tape them together to your desired size, use a lot packing paper and styrofoam to support the center. I leave 2-3 inches on each side, inch on top and bottom,
Important to label as "fragile" and "this end up" so it stands on end and not flat.
works great, I've shipped maybe a dozen like this. like 65 bucks to across country.

Is it too big for UPS? For odd items I like to use the UPS Store and have them package it since they have a good guarantee: https://www.theupsstore.com/about/pack-ship-guarantee
Otherwise I've seen UShip used successfully for hoods and large items. I see people talk about Greyhound too but don't have any personal experience shipping with them.
