Guys I think my whole car is falling apart!!! It either sounds like the power steering pump is dying or it needs more fluid... I don't think the shop had anything to do with this... I have some opened ATF SP III from a few years ago, do you think it's safe to top it off with it?

If that IS the PS and the reservoir is full and bled properly, then you have a couple options:

1. I purchased a new bearing and replaced the bad on in my current PS pump (that's usually where the noise comes from).
2. Buy a known, working PS pump and swap it on.

Be SUPER careful for the pressure sensor switch! Those things are really, REALLY sensitive and easy to break. He may officially have worse luck than me @letsgetthisdone

Checked the reservoir and it was bone dry... I filled it up and "bled" it by turning the wheel with the wheels on the ground. The sound from the video seems gone, but I'm worried that there is a leak somewhere. Even after 12 years, it shouldn't have needed more fluid right?

You heard the noise and didn't check the fluid level??

Check the FSM or Google to see if you should have the engine running while checking the fluid level, just to be sure you're reading it right.

If fluid level drops again, look for leaks. Or look anyway.

Please have someone knowledgeable look over your car ,before something catastrophic happens. We already had a guy drive his car with no oil pressure, killing his engine. Stop the madness!

I had TSComptuned do my timing belt service and water pump along with other things, replaced all of my fluids my self. Provided the timing/waterpump parts my self and I felt like it was priced fairly for labor. Go to him if you need anything done on your car since you are in NY. Hard guy to get a hold of but once you do he will do a great job on your car.

I am in 10K since i changed belts, pulleys and tensioners. However 5 years have passed since then (2014). Should i change all? Just the belts? nothing?

Yes. Recommended interval is 5yr/60k miles. Whichever comes first.

I would just the belts and the hydraulic tensioner for the timing belt unless you see a bearing for one of the pulleys leaking grease.

Without having it apart its an unknown. Maybe you find a pulley throwing grease, maybe antifreeze stain on the water pump. If you don't mind having the car down waiting on parts, order the minimum. When I last did belts, I had everything on hand (I thought) and found the engine end motor mount bad.

If the car is garaged most of the time maybe just the belts and tensioner, while doing a good inspection on the other bits. If it sits outside all the time, I'm thinking replace everything.

They all seem to be in good condition because of low mileage and the car stored in a garage but i am planning to do a bit of work to the engine and a new turbo kit so i was thinking of change the, On the other hand is the cost of the items so i am in the middle.

On evo 9 are both belts kevlar?

Thanks for your input guys
