Stock BOV question

I've tried to search the best I could, but couldn't find a definite answer. Recently tuned on speed density and still running my stock recirculating valve. Is it possible to run a speed density intake and vent to atmosphere with the stock valve until I get a new bov? Thanks.

Yes. I would leave the OEM BOV on there. It's the best performing one for our cars as long as you don't make more than about 28-29psi of boost. It needs to be crushed about 1/4" to handle that boost level, but it still works better than any aftermarket valve.

But can you vent the oem one to atmosphere if I use a speed density intake? Or must it recirculate?

If you decide to run higher boost try the BOV that WORKS make, no crushing needed.
