If the X is the same as the 8/9 in this way, then once the fill plug comes out all the fluid is basically pumped out of that hole and it empties real fast. Guaranteed if you drive any distance with that you'll have long term effects. I dont know what the solution is, but thats a spendy thing to replace and easy to fk up.

i would suggest moving forward maybe look at doing your own fluid maint, TC should be pumped from the bottom with OEM oil, stay safe and save yourself some money

very true but I wanted it done right the first time and it was a Christmas present so that’s why I took it to Mitsubishi. If it does go out pretty sure they will replace it if I have issues. If not they looking at a lawsuit.

If you want any chance of that tcase being replaced when it goes bad, the car needs to go to them to fix the current problem. Also, taking them to small claims court for a new tcase is hardly a lawsuit.

actually runs better than ever idk what they did. I doubt it will go out tho if it does then yea I’ll take it to them since they would be responsible
